August of 2009 Samsung released the Samsung A887 Solstice. It is 109 x 53 x 12.7 mm in dimension and weighs only 94 grams. The display type is a TFT touch screen with 256K colors measuring 240 x 400 pixels, 3.0 inches and includes accelerometer sensor. The Samsung A887 Solstice features include SMS, MMS, Email, IM messaging; WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser; radio; downloadable games; A-GPS support; and a MIDP 2.0 Java. It has a photo contact on its phonebook and uses a micro SD (TransFlash), up to 16 GB card slot. Samsung A887 Solstice features a v2.0 with A2DP Bluetooth and a Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps GPRS.
